Lockers and Cupboards

Link Lockers has the most comprehensive range of lockers and cupboards to provide the appropriate storage for all hospital areas.

Changing Rooms

Where maximum locker density is required without compromising accessibility.

Lockers are at the hub of the hospital in changing rooms. Whether providing a dedicated compartment for each member of staff or making compartments available on a free access basis, changing area solutions from Link Lockers are planned to allow easy access during shift changes.

All lockers benefit from BioCote anti-microbial protection as standard. This silver-based technology is provided as standard and makes a positive contribution to the on-going fight against cross contamination and reduction of HCAIs. BioCote is effective against a range of bacteria including MRSA and e-coli.

On Ward

Storage on wards takes many shapes and sizes and is required by patients and visitors alike.

Lockers with coin return locks make ideal storage for visitors' belongings when visiting bedside.

Storage for patients includes valuable storage at the ward station and small, individual compartments next to beds for storage and administration of patients' own drugs. This simple solution removes a major administrative burden from ward managers and nursing staff, providing time for more direct care.

Visitors – General and Ward

A variety of storage options is required for hospital visitors.

Standard four door lockers provide ideal secure storage for handbags and similar small items. In areas where items such as keys, cameras and coins are prohibited, wallets, phones and keyrings can be left in small compartment lockers which can be wall-mounted to allow easy access at a convenient level.

Theatre

Storage outside theatre is a specific requirement. Staff on surgery teams make use of lockers to securely store clothing and personal possessions away from theatre. BioCote anti-microbial protection has a particularly high contribution to make in this hygiene critical area. This silver-based technology is provided as standard and makes a positive contribution to the on-going fight against cross contamination and reduction of HCAIs. BioCote is effective against a range of bacteria including MRSA and e-coli.

Link Lockers also offers storage options for the gowns and footwear specifically required in the theatre environment.

Laundry

Used for the controlled issue of workwear, garment issue lockers are available in 5, 10, 15 and 20 door versions. Users have key access to their individual secure compartment to collect clean uniforms or clothing while a master door gives access to all compartments for re-stocking.

Used garments are placed into an adjacent collector locker for laundering.

Hygiene is protected as clean and dirty items are always separated and BioCote anti-microbial protection assists in reducing potential cross-contamination from these facilities.

X-Ray

Clothing and personal possessions are not allowed into X-ray areas. Standard lockers located outside the diagnosis provide the relevant storage. These lockers are closed with brass keys which can be carried by the patient without compromising the facility or results.

Maintenance

Cleaning and maintenance staff require lockers to ensure personal possessions and clothing can be locked away while on shift. A clean/dirty configuration is ideal for this requirement and is a standard solution from Link Lockers.

Cupboards with full storage height and hanging rails allow tabards to be stored with cleaning equipment such as mops and buckets in a secure but easily accessible facility.

Office Cupboards

Secure storage of office materials, records and low volumes of medical equipment is required throughout any hospital. Cupboards in a range of configurations from half to full heights with various internal designs allow you to select the most suitable arrangement to meet specific needs.

BioCote anti-microbial protection assists in reducing potential cross-contamination wherever these cupboards are used.

Ward Stations

Staff require local secure storage on ward stations as well as in changing rooms. Small compartment lockers in half or full height provide a compact solution in these areas.

Keeping this area clean and tidy reduces Health and Safety risks and creates a calm and organised apperance for visitors. The Link Lockers range of cupboards provides a choice of internal designs, from standard full width shelves to divided compartments, with or without hanging rails to meet the specific requirements of ward stations.
